The Industrial Firefighting program is designed for the persons who may be required to operate firefighting equipment in a first responder role. This training introduces personnel to the principles of industrial firefighting at the basic and advanced levels.

- Foam appliance and applications ( Advanced Level only)
- Dry chemical agents and application
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Fundamentals of ventilation
- Fire ground size up
- Fire hose handling
- Use of portable extinguishers
- Pump operations
- Open pit fires
- LPG complex and rescue
Duration
Basic Industrial Firefighting is completed in 3 days
Advance Industrial Firefighting is completed in 5 days

Certification
On successful completion of this course participants will receive a National Association of Safety Professionals Certificate and Card. It is recommended that this certificate be renewed every 3 years.
